1. Do I need to be a member of JCC-Chabad LIC to reserve a seat?
You do not need to be a member to RSVP for our high holiday services. ALL are welcome to join!
2. Can I show up to services if I didn't RSVP?
Yes you can, but please consider giving a donation if you do attend so it can help cover our expenses. Thank you!
3. Are children welcome to attend?
Children are welcome and encouraged to attend. We have an educational and fun filled program to keep your kids busy and happy during services. CLICK HERE to see the full children's schedule.
4. I don't read Hebrew. Will I feel comfortable being part of the services?
A lot of the services are read aloud in English and the Rabbi keeps everyone entertained (involved) with words and stories of inspiration and during services.
5. If I am not affiliated, can I still join services?
Yes, labels are for clothing, not for people. ALL are welcome to join!
6. Is there a dress code?
There is no specific dress code, though many like to dress more conservatively when showing up to services. You might also consider bringing a light sweater if you tend to get cold easily.
7. Do I need to bring anything with me?
You don't need to bring anything with you to services. If you do bring your phone, please be considerate and turn the sound off during services so as not to disturb. - to respect the sanctity of the Holiday.
8. What should I expect during services?
The Rabbi, his wife and the congregation are excited to welcome you to services and hope that you feel comfortable and inspired during the services. If there is anything you need during the time that you are here, they are happy to hear from you and discuss anything you might want to discuss.
